TDD (Tiff, Dave, and Dopes)

My new commute to work is a short 7 miles now…thank goodness with the gas prices. I finally had to fill some gas today and man has the price of gas gone up. I ended up paying 67 dollars for a tank of gas and I don’t drive a SUV so I feel sorry for those people.

I always think it’s funny when people talk about the national average of gas being around 2.65 because that’s not close to the price in California. I’m pretty much just waiting for summer to really kick in and see if the prices will top 4 dollars. If anyone sees the price of gas top 4 dollars take a snapshot and let me know.

I played this game earlier last month and found it to be actually quite fun.

You get a multiplier for killing faster which unlocks extra guns and powerups.

Check out this supercooled water that basically turns into Insta-Ice.

Wikipedia has the science behind the supercooling.

Basically very pure water can actually get below freezing and remain in liquid form. Any agitation or crystal introduced into the liquid gives the water a place to crystalize into ice. One of the brands that are pure enough to do this is Fiji water

Since I’ve been off two wheels since last summer I haven’t had a chance to get back on them. So I’m doing a second best thing…buying a mountain bike. I had some good recommendations from a coworker of mine. He said a good starter bike would be the Gary Fisher bikes or Specialized bikes. Unfortunately those bikes tend to range in the 500-700 range =) It was a bit more than I anticipated.

Luckily for me my good friend Dang has toys all over the place and was willing to sell me one of his older bikes! So let’s go mountain biking! Leave some good trails in the comments.
